Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry 2023 Important Dates

Vacancy and Age Limit Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification : Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

Who can Apply : Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2022 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2022 published by NTA.

Medical Standards/ Relaxation in Height and Weight/ Tattoo : All candidates recommended by SSB are required to undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry. Guidelines for medical standards are available on the Indian Navy website joinindiannavy.gov.in. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds. Change of medical hospital/centre is not permissible under any circumstances.

Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme Selection Process

a) IHQ MoD (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2022. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Mar 2023 onwards.

b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/ mobile number till selection process is over

c) Details of SSB procedure are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Merit List

Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification and character verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.

How to Apply Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Online Form

Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website joinindiannavy.gov.in from 28 Jan 2023.
